These terms and conditions govern the supply of all goods and services by Local Consumables Limited as Localconsumables.co.nz (referred to as "the Seller") to the purchaser (referred to as "the Buyer"), unless otherwise mutually agreed upon in writing by the Seller.

Definitions

1.1 "Seller" refers to Local Consumables Limited trading as Localconsumables.co.nz and its successors and assigns.

1.2 "Buyer" refers to the purchaser or any person or entity acting on behalf of and with the authority of the Buyer.

1.3 "Goods" refers to any item listed on the localconsumables.co.nz website supplied by the Seller to the Buyer.

1.4 "Price" refers to the cost of the Goods as mutually agreed upon between the Seller and the Buyer.

Acceptance: The Buyer's instructions for the supply of Goods constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions. Once accepted, these terms and conditions are irrevocable and can only be rescinded in accordance with the provisions herein or with the written consent of the management of the Seller. No agent or representative of the Seller is authorized to make any representations, statements, conditions, or agreements not expressed by the management of the Seller in writing. The Seller is not bound by any such unauthorized statements.

Pricing, Specifications, Policies, and Payment: All prices are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST). The Seller reserves the right to update prices, specifications, and policies without prior notice. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, the availability, price, or specifications of Goods may change rapidly. The Seller accepts no liability for any discrepancies.

The Seller shall not be liable for any indirect loss or expense suffered by the Buyer arising from a breach of these terms and conditions. Payments can be made by Visa or Mastercard credit cards or electronic transfer into the Seller’s account. Credit cards are charged either upon order shipment preparation or within seven days of order receipt, whichever occurs earlier. Credit card details are securely processed in real time by Shopify and/or Afterpay, and are not stored by Local Consumables. By using the Seller's Transaction Processing Service, the Buyer represents and warrants that they are over 18 years old and have the legal capacity to contract in New Zealand. The Buyer also represents and warrants that the credit card used is issued in their personal name, and agrees to pay all charges incurred through the use of Transaction Processing Services.

Freight and Delivery: Orders over $30 including GST are typically delivered free of charge, excluding rural addresses which incur a $5 fee per order. Orders under $30 incur a $5 delivery fee. Additional charges may apply for bulky items or items with per-item delivery fees, which are communicated to the Buyer prior to dispatch. The Seller endeavors to dispatch orders promptly. Orders for printer consumables received by 3:30 pm on a business day are dispatched the same day; other items are dispatched before 10 am subject to stock availability. Delivery times provided are estimates and not guaranteed. Deliveries within New Zealand are typically made by overnight courier to main centers and regions in the North Island, while deliveries to the South Island may take up to 3 days. Rural and provincial deliveries may take 3 to 4  business days. Certain islands are excluded from free shipping, and delivery charges are communicated prior to order processing.

The Seller may deliver Goods in separate instalments, invoiced and paid for accordingly. While the Seller aims for prompt delivery, it is not liable for any loss resulting from delivery delays.

International Customers: International shipping is not offered.

Return and Credit Policy: Returns are only accepted for incorrect or faulty items as per the Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act. Buyers are encouraged to carefully select products due to the absence of a retail outlet.For incorrect items, the Seller arranges collection and replacement. Faulty products must be reported within 5 days of delivery for assessment and potential repair or replacement. Authorized returns must be in original packaging with all accompanying materials. The Seller reserves the right to charge a 20% restocking fee plus outbound delivery costs for selected returns. Buyers must request Return Authorization before returning items, and are responsible for return shipping.

Repairs: Faulty goods covered by a manufacturer's warranty will be repaired or replaced. If the same item is unavailable, a similar item of similar specifications and price will be provided.

Risk and Ownership of Goods: Risk passes to the Buyer upon delivery. Any claims for Goods damaged in transit must be made to the carrier immediately after delivery. The Buyer must inspect Goods on delivery and notify the Seller of any defects, damage, or discrepancies within seven days. Failure to do so constitutes acceptance of the Goods. Ownership of Goods remains with the Seller until payment is made in full, and all other obligations are met.

Privacy Act/Collection of Overdue Monies: Information provided by the Buyer may be collected and used for account maintenance, website monitoring, and providing information about products and services. Buyers may request access to and correction of their personal information.In case of payment default, the Buyer indemnifies the Seller for all costs, including legal fees, associated with debt collection.

Changes to this Agreement: Local Consumables Limited reserves the right to review these terms and conditions at any time.

Free Shipping -

Once the payment is made, your purchased item will be dispatched within 24 - 48Hrs during the working day. Shipping will take 1-5 working days, depending on location.
